problems with them. They will always treat you with respect as an individual without
judgement or criticism. They will help you to see and accept the underlying reasons
for your current problems, so that you can realise why things have happened as
they have and decide upon your own course of action.
Counsellors may also use other skills if you are in agreement such as Clinical
Hypnotherapy to quickly help clear underlying deeper issues if that is required,
as well as teaching you skills for stress reduction such as deep breathing
exercises and meditation if needed.
Combining hypnosis with counselling can have the added benefit of powerfully
reinforcing the positive choices and directions that have arisen from the
counselling work, maximising the effectiveness of solutions.
what should you expect to discuss at the first session?
During the first discussion you will outline why you are seeking help. The counsellor
will tell you how they work and what methods they use for you to be able to decide
whether you feel comfortable to continue.
The discussion includes an understanding between the Counsellor and client
about terms in which they agree to work together such as;
confidentiality - Counsellors confirm that they will never tell your Doctor,
your employer, your family or partner, anything about your sessions without
your permission or consent.
clients right not to disclose - The Client does not need to disclose anything
they do not want to. The client decides whether they will divulge anything they
may want to, to affect a successful outcome for themselves.
frequency of and number of sessions - The Client and Counsellor will come
to an agreement about the number of visits it is likely to take to help the client
reach their goal/s. This is reviewed as the work continues.
A common number of visits might be 3-6 weeks. Sessions are made on a weekly
basis at the start and may progress to a fortnightly basis as work progresses.
Past Life Regression...
what is past life regression?
Past life regression is a therapy using hypnosis whereby a client is taken back
through time on a journey or deep inner quest to their own truth. It is perfectly safe,
and very easy, as easy as relaxing and letting the subconscious do all the work.
The therapist asks you to describe what you are seeing in your minds eye and is
trained not to lead you with their questions, rather to let you tell them what you are
experiencing as the journey progresses.
what if I don't believe in past lives?
Believing in past lives is not necessary to experience real personal growth from this
work. Even if past lives is just a construct of the mind, as some people believe, it is
often so beneficial to a client to use this method rather than going back to traumatic
times in their current life which may be too difficult for them to deal with.
Having taken many clients on this journey, even those who didn't think they could
have a past life experience, few have not been able to experience a meaningful
past life experience. Those few have connected with something of powerful
importance and meaning that directly connected with problems they were
currently dealing with in their life.
what benefits can I get from past life regression?
Through regression you can learn why obstacles and challenges are holding you
back in your present life. It is possible to gain freedom from many issues by
using this safe and gentle therapy.

what is psych-k?
Psych-K is a user friendly way to rewrite the software of your mind and
change the printout of your life!
It is a safe, non-invasive and effective technique to change outdated perceptions
and beliefs at the subconscious level of the mind.
By changing beliefs using a specific technique similar to, but not the same as;
kinesiology, NLP, etc., both the body and mind are "reset" at a cellular level.
Left and right brain hemispheres are balanced using special body hold
techniques as the new beliefs are concentrated upon.
where does psych-k originate from?
Psych-K (TM). was founded and originated by Robert M. Williams, M.A. (USA) in
1988. He is the author of the book "Psych-K...The Missing Peace in Your Life".
Robert is also co-host of the DVD. "The Biology of Perception...the Psychology of
Change", with Dr Bruce Lipton, M.D. Cellular Biologist. Psych-K is a reflection of his
personal commitment to help individuals to recognise their divinity, their greatness

what can psych-k do for me?
When you change your beliefs you change your reality!
The Psych-K balance work transforms any subconscious resistance you may
have to achieving your goals, whatever they may be in your life....
how long does it take for a balance to work?
The results of a balance may be felt instantaneously or may evolve over time (hours,
days, weeks or longer) for example: if your goal is to find a job, releasing the fear of
changing jobs or of being unemployed may be felt at the time of the balance.
However, acquiring a new job may take additional time and action though it has
become much easier for you to overcome your fears about it.
For a health related issue where balancing will help to reduce the stress around
inner conflict that may be supporting the presence of dis-ease in your body, it is still
important to take all the appropriate physical steps to help the body to heal itself.
how long does a balance last?
Balances seem to last until they are no longer needed or useful to the subconscious
mind. Life is an evolutionary process.
Beyond affirmations, will power and positive thinking...Psych-K balances your
beliefs to be more positive, and clears away the negatives that have been holding
you back. Sometimes clearing beliefs that have been with you since childhood.
how do I arrange for a psych-k session?
I usually integrate Psych-K work within counselling sessions as it is essential to
establish an effective new "core" belief. The more specific the belief is to you and
your thinking, the better the result. A good facilitator will be able to find just what is
really holding you back.

In many scientific studies it has been proven that meditation can heal by way of
reducing the stress in our day to day lives, by the consistent practice of sitting in
stillness, breathe awareness and contemplation.
Meditation practice will teach you to relax your body, calm your mind, release
anxiety, and give you a profound sense of calmness.
how can I learn to meditate?
I am a great advocate for all forms of meditation, though you need to find what works
for you best. Meditation can be as simple as taking a quiet walk or sitting watching a
sunset. Whatever works for you, as long as you take time out on a regular basis.
I teach my clients simple ways to start meditating by simple breathing exercises that
only takes 5 minutes a day at first..., as it can be hard to integrate real change into
their busy day to day lives.
Just start by taking five minutes a day to sit quietly where you can't be disturbed or
interrupted. Close your eyes, listen to your breath, feel your breath going in and out.....
Just doing this each day on a regular basis you will notice some improvement in your
state of mind, more of this and you will notice those busy thoughts are not so upfront,
continue to practice and you will gain more clarity and a sense of wellbeing.
Investigate places you can go to take part in a group that meditates regularly and you
just might change your life for the better!...
